We are seeking a skilled Product Owner (PO) to lead the management and prioritization of our product backlog ensuring the successful delivery of features and improvements. The PO will collaborate closely with stakeholders including customers development teams and business leaders to maximize the products value and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Backlog Management:
- Define and oversee the product backlog to align with the product vision and business objectives.
- Prioritize backlog items based on business value stakeholder feedback and development team capacity.
- Ensure the backlog remains transparent visible and comprehensible to all stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Serve as the main liaison between stakeholders and the development team.
- Collect and analyze feedback from customers stakeholders and market trends.
- Communicate the product vision goals and progress to all relevant parties.
Requirement Definition:
- Create clear and detailed user stories acceptance criteria and other requirement documents.
- Work with the development team to ensure a mutual understanding of requirements.
- Validate that delivered features meet business needs and acceptance criteria.
Sprint Planning and Review:
- Engage in sprint planning review and retrospective meetings.
- Ensure the development team understands priorities and goals for each sprint.
- Accept or reject completed user stories based on predefined acceptance criteria.
- Lead daily standup meetings.
Product Strategy and Vision:
- Contribute to the formulation of the product strategy and vision.
- Stay updated on industry trends competitor products and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and report on product performance metrics and user feedback.
- Analyze data to pinpoint areas for improvement and make datadriven decisions.
- Continuously evaluate and refine the product to meet user needs and business goals.
Story Writing Expertise:
- Break down EPICs into smaller user stories to fit into sprints.
- Write user stories following the correct Agile format.
- Approve stories once they meet the definition of done.
Capacity Planning and Load Management:
- Define team capacity for upcoming iterations.
- Manage workload risks and dependencies.
Art Sync and Release Management:
- Drive ART (Agile Release Train) synchronization.
- Understand continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies particularly Scrum.
- Excellent communication collaboration and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving abilities.
- Proficiency with product management tools such as JIRA Trello or Asana.
- Certification in Product Ownership (e.g. CSPO PSPO) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
- Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.
- Knowledge of the specific industry or domain relevant to the product.
