Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (ReactJS MobX and TypeScript) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the product management team to define design and implement new functionality on Redwoods Software Solutions.
- You will develop solutions based on Redwood s SaaS offering.
- Support and improve existing functionality.
- Prototype new solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship to your colleagues.
- Work on complex higher level projects.
- Analyze and resolve intricate technical challenges.
Requirements
- Java 11/17
- ReactJS MobX and TypeScript
- Docker
- Postgres DB
- Tomcat
- Git and Jira BitBucket Bamboo from Atlassian
- Spring Boot
Bonus Skills:
- AWS
- SAP knowledge: ABAP HANA
- OS knowledge: Windows UNIX (Linux also Solaris AIX HPUX)
- Relational databases
- Shell scripting

5+ years experience in software development, at least two years as a Development Manager. Possess a growth mindset to career growth of self and direct reports. SCRUM Master Certified. Experience leading software development teams using the SCRUM development framework. Previously demonstrated project management success on similar projects, emphasizing experience with ERP application development. Strong technical vision and continuous improvement drive. Extensive experience with C#, Java or related Object Oriented Programming language(s). Experience leading software architecture designs and discussions for SaaS-based microservices architecture. Proven professional experience working in CI/CD environments. Extreme understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle s best practices and processes. Strong experience with modern application development workflows and version control systems like Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. High proficiency in writing automated tests using a testing framework such as MSTest, Junit, and NUnit.
