Job Description
Were looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to oversee material planning purchasing production scheduling and logistics. Youll ensure timely delivery of materials and efficient production flow while keeping inventory costs down. As a leader youll guide a team of buyers and planners solve problems and implement corrective actions. Your role involves mentoring collaborating with your team and exceeding both internal and external customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee integrated planning processes including make vs. buy decisions capacity planning scheduling and inventory management.
Analyze customer demand sales forecasts and historical usage to develop effective production plans.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to devise costeffective production strategies.
Implement best practices for inventory forecasting purchasing and material control.
Prepare and communicate customer delivery reports and address potential delays proactively.
Manage production scheduling monitor material inventories and track production progress.
Develop sourcing strategies and build strong supplier relationships to meet cost quality and delivery targets.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure accuracy in inventory counts.
Work with management on budgeting scheduling expenditures and analyzing variances.
Participate in crossfunctional operational decisions and lead productivity and improvement projects.
Support new product development to ensure cost and quality standards are met.
Negotiate contracts and policies with suppliers.
What Youll Need:
A BS degree in business management or a related field.
Experience in materials management and sourcing within a design and manufacturing context.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; EXACT MAX a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Access).
Strong leadership problemsolving and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
