Senior Business Systems Analyst Remote
A client in the insurance industry is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support their Individual Insurance and Wealth business partners. The role focuses on aligning systems and data to meet growing demands for accessible digital information. This position requires expertise in Canadian securities including IIROC/MFDA knowledge and will involve working with stakeholders and vendors to drive the Investment Dealer Launch Program.

Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Work schedule from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST.
Remote work with occasional travel to Toronto or Waterloo as needed.

Responsibilities:
Facilitate discovery sessions with business and technical teams to identify problems and define client needs while determining the project scope.
Lead workshops to gather requirements and conduct business analysis ensuring a strong connection between processes and systems.
Collaborate with the Journey Owner and Tech Lead to map out the future business roadmap and define business capabilities.
Analyze user and data requirements and translate them into system requirements user stories and data mapping documents.
Work with team members to prioritize highvalue backlog items providing feedback on both business and technical documentation.
Ensure comprehensive documentation of business requirements process changes and workflows.
What you will need to succeed:
10 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Consultant.
Strong expertise in Canadian securities including knowledge of stocks mutual funds and ETFs and deep familiarity with IIROC and MFDA regulations.
Ability to translate complex requirements into wellstructured documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and process workflows.
Strong facilitation and leadership skills with a proven ability to work independently and push initiatives forward.
Proficiency in Jira Confluence and Miro is a plus.
Excellent communication skills able to present complex business and technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Experience working with digital engagement platforms and clientfacing technologies.
Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to adapt to evolving business priorities and changing methodologies.
