MSBI - Developer

As an MSBI Developer you will be responsible for designing and implementing data models developing ETL processes and creating reports and dashboards. Your expertise in SSAS for cube development SSIS for data integration and SSRS for reporting will be crucial in delivering highquality business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SSAS Cube Development and Management:
   
• Design develop and deploy OLAP cubes using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
  
• Optimize cube performance through effective partitioning aggregations and indexing strategies.
  
• Create and maintain SSAS dimensions measures and calculations to support business reporting needs.
  
2. ETL Development with SSIS:
   
• Develop maintain and optimize ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  
• Design and implement data flow tasks transformations and error handling processes.
  
• Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the ETL pipeline.
  
3. Reporting with SSRS:
   
• Design develop and maintain reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  
• Create interactive and parameterized reports to meet business requirements.
  
• Implement best practices for report performance and usability.
  
4. Data Modeling and Analysis:
   
• Develop and maintain data models to support complex business analytics.
  
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective data models and cube designs.
  
• Ensure data models align with business needs and reporting objectives.
  
5. Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting:
   
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues related to SSAS cubes SSIS packages and SSRS reports.
  
• Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to resolve datarelated issues.
  
• Continuously optimize data processes and reporting systems for better performance and efficiency.
  
6. Documentation and Best Practices:
   
• Document SSAS cube designs SSIS packages and SSRS reports.
  
• Develop and enforce best practices and standards for MSBI development.
  
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and endusers.
  
7. Stakeholder Collaboration:
   
• Collaborate with business analysts project managers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  
• Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions effectively to nontechnical stakeholders.
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related field. Relevant certifications in MSBI technologies are a plus.
  
• Experience: 5 years of experience in MSBI development with a focus on SSAS SSIS and SSRS.
  
• Technical Skills:
  
• Proficiency in SSAS for developing and managing OLAP cubes and data models.
  
• Strong experience with SSIS for ETL processes including data flow tasks transformations and error handling.
  
• Expertise in SSRS for designing developing and optimizing reports and dashboards.
  
• Familiarity with SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) and best practices for BI development.
  
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.
