Now we need a strong Product Owner and QA Specialist to help structure our development efforts and support our rapid growth. Youll play a pivotal role in steering the product roadmap while ensuring topnotch quality in everything we build. Tasks
As a Product Owner and QA Specialist at Shyfter you will wear multiple hats to ensure the success of our product lifecycle.
You will take ownership of the product roadmap while also playing a key role in quality assurance ensuring that we ship a polished highperforming product that meets our users needs.
Youll work closely with crossfunctional teams including development sales and customer support to drive the development and release of new features / improvements and report directly to the CEO.
Product Ownership:
- Lead the product roadmap defining and prioritizing features based on customer feedback business needs and market research.
- Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories for the development team.
- Work with the CEO to ensure alignment on product goals and deliverables.
Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans to validate new features and ensure a highquality user experience.
- Perform functional regression and user acceptance testing across all platforms.
- Identify document and track bugs ensuring they are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure QA processes are fully integrated into our development cycle.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization ensuring that the product reflects user needs and pain points.
- Facilitate communication between technical and nontechnical teams to ensure smooth product development.
- Provide regular updates on product progress and key performance metrics to leadership.
Requirements
- A min 3 years proven experience as a Product Owner QA Specialist or a similar dualrole capacity within a SaaS or techdriven environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering highquality products.
- Familiarity with HR software workforce management tools or related technologies is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fastpaced startup environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages relevant to target markets (e.g. French Dutch Spanish German etc.) is highly desirable.
- Ability to take initiative in a fastpaced ultradynamic environment.
