The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and as a British School Overseas (BSO). BISR is also a member of the British Schools of the Middle East (BSME) the Association of British Schools Overseas (AoBSO) the Heads Conference (HMC) and the Council of British International Schools (COBIS). The school follows the English curriculum greatly enriched by the local and international context. Learning is holistic supported by a broad cocurricular programme encompassing extracurricular activities student leadership service learning and residential trips. Strong pastoral care supports student wellbeing.
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to support the school with specific responsibilities pertaining to the schools procurement and purchasing and the corresponding policies and strategy. The postholder will support all 7 campuses of the school but will be based out of the Al Hamra or Al Waha campuses in Riyadh.
Standard working hours will normally be from 7:30 am to 3.45 pm 5 days a week Sunday to Thursday during term time however due to the nature of the role and requirements a high level of flexibility and commitment is required sometimes working outside of the standard hours with some work activities requiring completion during the School holidays.

The successful candidate will:
Be enthusiastic highly motivated and with a strong track record of working within a similar type of role.
Show evidence of strong procurement and purchasing related experience within a large establishment. Prior experience of working within a school environment will be a clear advantage.
Be proactive in their approach to dealing with interactions with external and internal enquires on procurement in line with the schools expected high standards;
Hold a relevant procurement qualification.
Go the extra mile including working outside of standard school hours ensuring service level delivery is met;
Have excellent interpersonal skills high levels of emotional intelligence and be able to deal effectively and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and teams;
Fully support the school Mission Vision and Motto
Have KSA residency status
