Job Description

Job Overview: We are looking for a Title Examiner with extensive experience in US Title Examining eager to learn and grow. The role involves reviewing title documents assessing open liens/judgments and other liabilities affecting property titles. Responsibilities include managing daily shifts ensuring production and quality SLAs maintaining effective team communication and managing overall shift performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive understanding of Title Search processes (Limited Search NetroOnline Search Full Search Title Examiners Two Owner Search Current Owner Search).
  • Nationwide search expertise with high proficiency.
  • Proficient in online searches using public websites like Netronline and title plants such as Tapestry Data Trace Title Point Landex TIMS.
  • Research title plant software analyze and evaluate pertinent record documents for ownership legal descriptions and title connections.
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive title commitments per company/client s examination and policy procedures.
  • Scrutinize recorded deeds mortgages and other documents affecting property titles.
  • Locate tax records judgments liens mortgages and bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings.
  • Research conditions or restrictions on property titles.
  • Summarize pertinent legal or insurance details for examination proof or reference.
  • Report research findings on property titles accurately and clearly.
  • Provide chain of title exceptions and requirements through Title Reports.
  • Ensure strong attention to detail when extracting and entering information into reports or software without error.
  • Act as a resource to less experienced team members.
  • Maintain proper production levels and delivery standards daily.
  • Open to working in day/night shifts.
  • Recommend and advise on process improvement leading initiatives to enhance processes and service/products.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships at all key facilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum of a bachelor s degree.
  • At least 12 years of experience in Title Search with a solid understanding of the process.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with integrity honesty and personal ownership.
