Overview:
The BAMS Resident Medical Officer (RMO) plays a crucial role in providing medical care and treatment to patients at the healthcare facility in Devadurga Karnataka. They are responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of patients by delivering highquality medical services and implementing effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient consultations and physical examinations
- Assessing diagnosing and providing appropriate medical treatment to patients
- Managing and coordinating the medical care of patients
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and procedures
- Monitoring and managing patient health records
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care
- Adhering to medical ethics and legal regulations
- Participating in medical rounds and case discussions
- Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff
- Keeping abreast of advancements in medical treatment and technology
- Ensuring patient and family education and counseling

- Prescribing medication and monitoring patient medication regimens
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree
- Valid RMO registration
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Comprehensive understanding of general medicine and healthcare practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in clinical examination and assessment
- Strong decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Sound knowledge of emergency care and medical procedures
