Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in writing optimizing and troubleshooting SQL queries and scripts
- Support database design and normalization processes
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and maintain database solutions
- Participate in data analysis and reporting tasks
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of ETL processes
- Assist in database maintenance and performance tuning activities
- Participate in data quality and integrity checks
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of database documentation
- Participate in the implementation and management of database security measures
- Support application developers in integrating database solutions
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in SQL and database technologies
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving databaserelated issues
- Assist in the testing and validation of database solutions
- Contribute to the support and maintenance of databaserelated systems and tools
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools is a plus
- Understanding of software development lifecycle is a plus
- Experience with any programming language is a plus
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools is a plus
- Understanding of database security best practices is a plus
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts is a plus
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is a plus
