Job Description

Vacancy Overview Central Valve Shop Coordinator Airswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process, and infrastructure industries. Airswift is seeking for Central Valve Shop Coordinator to work in Qatar. Start Date: ASAP (typically within 1 month notice) Location: Qatar Site Working Schedule: 6 days per week / 12 hours per day or as per project requirements. Contract duration: 3 months DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Central Workshop Coordinator is the primary communication link within the in-house workshop team during a turnaround. This role is essential in ensuring that all valve overhaul activities according to the turnaround schedule. The coordinator manages daily progress, oversees discovery work, organizes spare parts, and coordinates transportation logistics, while ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements. The position demands night shifts and extended hours during the Turnaround window. Daily Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor the progress of valve overhaul tasks to ensure adherence to the event schedule, and provide regular, timely updates. Priority Compliance: Ensure that workshop activities align with the event’s priorities, including managing any changes in priorities Conflict Resolution: Escalate any schedule conflicts to the Valves Lead to ensure prompt resolution and adherence to deadlines. Repair and Discovery Work: Follow up of repair plans and ensure timely approvals for any additional discovery work that arises during the turnaround. Material and Spare Parts Management: Oversee the sourcing, organization, and delivery of all materials and spare parts needed for valve overhauls, ensuring their availability and timely delivery.
