Roles and responsibilities

The Category Executive - Flower will be responsible for managing and expanding the Flower category at Snoonu. The role involves collaborating with vendors, tracking performance metrics, executing promotional strategies, optimizing product assortment, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the flower product category. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers, retail, and e-commerce, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

(Some of) What you will be doing:

• Category Management: Oversee the Flower category’s product range, ensuring a diverse and high-quality offering that meets customer needs and preferences.
• Vendor & Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, florists, and wholesalers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing.
• Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive products, and pricing strategies, ensuring that the category is aligned with market demands.
• Product Development & Sourcing: Source new and innovative products to continually expand and enhance the flower offering on the platform.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, sales trends, and demand to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Promotions & Campaigns: Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal offers that boost sales.
• Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of the Flower category using KPIs, analyzing sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to implement strategies that improve performance.
• Customer Experience: Ensure a seamless customer experience by working on optimizing the product display, offering competitive pricing, and delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Logistics to ensure smooth execution of all initiatives within the Flower category.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
2+ years of experience in category management, retail, e-commerce, or a related role (experience in the flower or floral industry is a plus).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and drive decisions based on insights.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work with vendors and internal teams.
Creative mindset with a passion for flowers and an understanding of the market trends.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with category management tools and software is a plus.
