Laundry Supervisor

Oversee the daily operations of the laundry department including scheduling and delegating tasks to laundry staff.

Ensure that all laundry services are delivered to the highest standards in line with company policies and procedures.

Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies and equipment and place orders as needed.

Train and supervise laundry staff providing guidance and support to ensure their performance meets company standards.

Conduct regular inspections of laundry facilities and equipment to identify any maintenance or repair needs.

Maintain a clean and organized laundry area adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Create and maintain laundry schedules for crew members ensuring that all laundry is returned to them in a timely manner.

Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to laundry services.

Keep accurate records of laundry services including inventory expenses and revenue.

Collaborate with other departments such as Housekeeping and Food and Beverage to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a supervisory role in a laundry or housekeeping department.

Knowledge of laundry equipment and products.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.

Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
