- Providing training to team members on an ongoing basis.
- Identifying deviations or non conformances planning and implementing corrective actions to ensure attainment of production plan.
- Complying with requirements of various protocols at Department plant and company level.
- Maintain and implement safety and health systems and ensuring operational and legal compliance in accordance with regulations.
- Communicating relevant aspects to all parties involved.
- Determining schedules assignment work and managing the performance of assigned personnel to ensure the achievements of company production standards and targets.
- Correcting non conformances and motivating improvements.

- Investigating opportunities for improvement and developing implementing and controlling action plans to realize the improvement.
- Monitoring compliance with mining standards and legislative requirements to ensure adherence.
- Liaising with upstream and downstream processes for identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Continuously ensure strategic involvement in area related problems.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience working in Supervisory positions.
- Grade 12 Qualification.
- Good Verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer skills are essential.
Excellent problems -solving skills. Able to train employees on production related programs. Experience in dealing with Union-related matters, this include having monthly meetings with Shortwards and liaising with the Production Manager.
