How You ll Make an Impact:
As an XRay Tech you ll play an important role in supporting our providers and delivering care to patients. You ll work directly with patients to clearly and compassionately explain the procedure while assisting them in positioning for the exam. You ll perform imaging tests as ordered by the provider and deliver high quality imaging to aid the provider in making a diagnosis. When no Xrays are needed you ll be working in tandem with our medical assistants to assist our patients and providers. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate nature strong administrative skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment. As an XRay Tech you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our clinics.
In this role you ll get to:
- Perform imaging tests for patients.
- Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout the procedure.
- Maintain XRay safety protocols and standards.
- Ensure that test and imaging quality is optimal so that the provider can properly make a diagnosis.
- Warmly greet and assist patients ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable.
- Efficiently manage patient checkin and check out processes alongside MA s including verifying insurance and collecting copayments.
- Appropriately adjust medical records in the EMR.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion in handling patient concerns and inquiries.
What we re looking for:
- People with compassionate and patientfocused attitudes.
- Current limited Xray certificate.
- Digital Radiography Certification.
- CPR certification.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Comfort using technology including EMR systems.
Compensation details:
You can expect a competitive hourly pay ranging from $24 $28 per hour based on relevant experience knowledge and other key qualities. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental benefits vision benefits PTO and 401k contributions.
