Skills Requirements

Mandatory Skillset SSIS SSRS SQL Server

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work with EDW & Architecture groups to define and implement integration of new systems and processes.
  
• Work on Break/Fix and Maintenance service tickets for requests from the general user population.
  
• Participate in peer code reviews and adhere to best practice development methodologies.
  
• Identify design and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes optimizing data delivery redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability etc.
  

Requirements

Must be a selfstarter with a great attitude not afraid to take the initiative and work with little supervision.

Minimum 5 years ETL experience real world experience with SSIS.

Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL server.

Extensive knowledge and experience using concepts including but not limited to:

o Stored Procedures/TSQL

o Query Performance Tuning

o Data Warehousing & OLAP

o Source control tools & concepts (CI/CD Git Bitbucket Github)

Practical experience with property & casualty insurance/reinsurance and multicurrency systems is an asset.

Ability to analyze business and technical specifications and interact with our business users effectively.

Ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

Qualifications/Skills: Experience with SSIS, SQL Server, SQL, relational database, etc.- 3 to 5 years - Required. Knowledge of the Property and casualty Insurance industry is a plus. Ability to recognize past issue patterns and apply them to the existing problem -resolution process. Initiative-taking, collaborator with the ability to work and mentor junior resources in different regions Ability to work with the other groups and lead the ETL solution. Excellent Analytical, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills Experience with Azure - 0-2 years - good to have. Experience with Snowflake - 0-2 years - good to have. Comfortable working with complex ETL solutions and large data sets Organized with Strong written and Verbal communication skills. Familiar with Jira, Confluence, and Agile Processes
