Job Overview:

The PHP Software Engineer will be responsible for leading the design development and maintenance of complex web applications using PHP with a specific focus on the Yii framework. The ideal candidate will possess 35 years of experience and will provide technical leadership to the team ensuring the delivery of highquality software solutions that meet business requirements within the given timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor junior team members offering guidance and support based on project needs.
  
• Deliver tasks as per standard estimations and ensure deadlines are met consistently.
  
• Enhance troubleshooting skills to resolve client issues efficiently and effectively.
  
• Seamlessly learn and integrate thirdparty APIs and project modules.
  
• Maintain a deep understanding of project code and the underlying business logic.
  
• Ensure client releases are bugfree and meet highquality standards.
  
• Communicate task deadlines and regularly update stakeholders on progress.
  
• Adopt Generative AI tools to improve coding efficiency and best practices.
  
• Adhere to best practices including OWASP security standards to maintain application security.
  
• Take ownership of deployment processes and ensure effective communication with partners.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  

Requirements

• 35 years of experience as a PHP Developer or similar role with a proven track record of delivering highquality software.
  
• Expert knowledge of PHP frameworks particularly Yii with additional experience in Laravel Symfony or CodeIgniter.
  
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
  
• Experience with database design and management especially with systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  
• Proficiency with version control systems particularly Git.
  
• Indepth understanding of web security performance optimization and SEO principles.
  
• Strong problemsolving skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently or lead a team.
  
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with RESTful APIs and thirdparty integrations.
  
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker and Jenkins.
  
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
• Indepth experience with Yii PHP and MySQL.
