Job Description
Location: Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
Type of hiring: Contract
Key Objectives
To oversee and execute all contract and procurement activities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations adhering to COMPANY regulations SSHE guidelines and PETRONAS Procurement Standards.
Accountabilities
- Fulfil enduser requirements in the most efficient manner.
- Ensure all activities align with COMPANY regulations and PETRONAS Procurement Standards.
- Continuously enhance internal procurement processes identifying and addressing potential risks and exposures to the COMPANY.
- Educate other departments on best practices and achieving full cost recovery.
- Engage in procurementrelated initiatives by PETRONAS and submit necessary reports to Group Procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required; professional certification from accredited bodies is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry including at least 3 years with an E&P operator or contractor in Malaysia.
- Familiarity with the latest PETRONAS Procurement Standard revisions and practical experience with various procurement processes over the last 3 years with direct involvement in Group Procurement PETRONAS being desirable.
- Proficiency in SAP is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
