Job Description
Agricultural company in Frankfort Free State are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain costing records
- Project costing
- Generate costing reports
- Develop and maintain costing models
- Monitor purchase price variance
- Stock evaluation at monthend
- Assist in the budget and forecast process with pricing structures
- Assist with stock counts
- Compile monthly management reports
- Ensure daily posting of production & transfer orders
- Assist all departments with IT related enquiries
- Approval of General journals & payments on adhoc basis
- Maintain inventory item setup on NAVISION
- Monitor & rapport production efficiency on weekly basis
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- BCom Accounting
- CIMA qualification will serve as recommendation
- Completed SAICA articles
- 3 years relevant experience within the Cost Accounting field
- Strong analytical numeracy and interpersonal skills
- Good computer literacy with the ability to function at an advanced level in Excel
- Ability to function independently in a team and accept responsibility
RUMUNERATION
R500000 To R700000 Per Annum
