This is a remote position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daytoday bookkeeping tasks including data entry invoicing and payroll.
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
Prepare financial statements and reports.
Ensure compliance with Australian tax law and policies.
Manage payroll processing
Responding to roster inquiries from relevant staff
Updating rosters based on business needs
Contacting (via phone text email etc.) customers to advise of rostering changes
Contacting relevant staff to advise of roster changes
Assisting with general administrative duties to support staff
Assisting with the management of timesheets for relevant staff
Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments managing correspondence and maintaining records.
Assist with NDIS billing and reporting.
Liaise with external accountants and auditors as needed.
Support the team with various adhoc tasks and projects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative roles.
Proficiency in Xero accounting software
Strong understanding of Australian tax law and policies.
Must have a relevant experience in rostering and scheduling
Experience in establishing and maintaining effective rostering systems and processes
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of NDIS billing and reporting is a plus.
