Job Description

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the manufacturing sector. Develop and implement strategies to expand the company s market presence and increase revenue.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and ensure that the company s offerings align with their requirements.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends opportunities and competitive threats. Use this information to inform business strategies and decisionmaking.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business growth targets. Collaborate with senior management to align business development efforts with the company s overall objectives.
  • Sales Management: Lead the sales team in developing and executing sales strategies. Set sales targets monitor performance and provide guidance and support to ensure targets are met.
  • Product Development: Work closely with the production and engineering teams to develop new products or improve existing ones based on market demand and client feedback.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients and suppliers to secure favorable terms and agreements. Ensure that contracts are aligned with the company s goals and risk management policies.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for business development activities. Ensure that all initiatives are costeffective and within budget.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on business development activities market conditions and sales performance. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals. Provide training support and performance feedback to help them achieve their goals.
  • Networking: Represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows. Build a network of contacts that can be leveraged for business opportunities.


  • Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing Engineering or a related field. An MBA or relevant certifications in business development or sales is a plus.
  • Experience: 710 years of experience in business development sales or a related role in the manufacturing industry with at least 35 years in a management position.
  • ndustry Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of the manufacturing industry including market trends key players and competitive landscape.
    • Experience with B2B sales and client relationship management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales management tools.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute longterm business plans.
