Job Description
Dining Steward Cruise Ship
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain tables and dining areas according to company standards
Greet guests and assist them with seating
Take food and beverage orders and serve meals to guests
Ensure all dishes glasses and utensils are cleaned and sanitized
Stock and replenish supplies in the dining areas
Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
Provide exceptional customer service to guests addressing any concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dining environment
Work closely with other crew members to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
Attend trainings and meetings as required by the company
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role preferably in a hospitality or food service setting
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced and physically demanding environment
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications for working on a cruise ship
