Overview:
The Freelancer IT Recruiter plays a crucial role in the organization by sourcing screening and selecting qualified IT candidates for various roles. This position is vital in ensuring that the organization has access to top IT talent to support its operations and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their IT staffing needs
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
- Screen IT resumes and job applications
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates
- Assess applicants relevant knowledge skill sets and experience
- Advertise job openings on social media company career pages and other platforms
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
- Build a strong IT candidate pipeline for future hiring needs
- Maintain regular communication with candidates and keep them informed of their application status
- Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
- Manage recruitmentrelated vendor relationships as needed
- Participate in IT job fairs and career events
- Collaborate with IT agencies universities and other organizations to source top IT talent
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations during the hiring process
- Provide regular updates to the management team regarding recruitment activities and candidate status
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration IT or a related field
- Proven work experience as an IT recruiter HR recruiter or similar role
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT skills roles and qualifications
- Experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone video inperson)
- Familiarity with HR databases applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Proven track record of successfully meeting recruitment targets and deadlines
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to build and maintain professional networks
- Understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations
- Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g. PHR SHRMCP) is a plus
- Proficiency in using social media for recruiting (LinkedIn Facebook etc.)
