Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing production plans in alignment with company goals
- Managing and supervising production staff to ensure smooth operations
- Overseeing daily production activities and ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency
- Monitoring production metrics and KPIs to drive performance improvements
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to resolve production issues
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Managing production budgets and expenses
- Implementing best practices for lean manufacturing and cost reduction
- Leading and developing the production team through training and mentorship
- Assessing equipment and technology needs to optimize production capabilities
- Participating in strategic planning to support longterm production objectives
- Reviewing and analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement
- Resolving any productionrelated issues or conflicts
- Reporting on production activities and performance to senior management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or a related field
- Proven experience in a production management role
- Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent understanding of production processes and equipment
- Ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements
- Indepth knowledge of quality control standards and practices
- Experience with budgeting and cost management
- Strategic planning and project management capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
- Proficiency in production software and technology
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic production environment
- Certifications in production management or related areas (e.g. Six Sigma) are a plus
