3. Summary of the opportunity
Client Overview: We are hiring for a client in the technology industry.
Role Summary: As a Construction Safety Manager you will be the clients safety representative on site ensuring compliance with safety regulations and overseeing the general contractors implementation of the approved safety program.
4. What are the key responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for implementing EHS programs at a specific datacenter site.
Be accountable for EHS performance metrics and implement improvement plans.
Conduct periodic inspections audits and reviews of safe work practices.
Conduct workplace risk/exposure assessments for various hazards.
Support incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Deliver regulatory training programs to meet EHS requirements.
Embody the companys culture and values.
5. What experience are we looking for to drive success
MUSTHave Skills and Qualifications:
10 years of experience in the safety industry.
5 years of experience in construction.
2 years of experience in data center construction (ideally).
Experience overseeing general contractors and reporting incidents.
Fluent in English.
Comfortable working onsite in a data center construction environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent skills in analysis planning organization direction and control.
Ability to understand nuances of communicating with local unionized construction laborers.
