Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care Physician to join our team in Bakersfield for coverage through the year!
In this role you will be treating both scheduled and walkin workrelated injuries and urgent care patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat workrelated injuries
Perform preplacement DOT public safety and surveillance physical examinations
Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walkin basis
Perform inoffice procedures as needed
Communicate with employers to provide medical guidance and recommendations
Exhibit welcoming skillful and respectful behaviors at all times
Complete all documentation in a timely and appropriate manner
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Assignment Duration: As soon as credentialed through the end of December.
Occupational Medicine Experience: Highly desired (1 year) Urgent Care Experience: Nice to have (1 year) DOT Certified Ability to Treat Autonomously: Required Board Certification or Eligibility in Primary Care or Related Field: Highly desired
