Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and licensed Occupational Therapist to develop and implement effective activities and programs tailored to our patients individual needs. This role requires a patientfocused professional with strong clinical expertise to contribute to a wellrounded and fulfilling rehabilitation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design lead and evaluate occupational therapy programs to enhance patients physical cognitive and social skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess patients needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress adjusting therapy techniques as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies to support ongoing rehabilitation.
- Document patient assessments progress notes and treatment plans according to facility guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 12 years of clinical experience required.
- Certification: Must be statecertified as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (TR) or Occupational Therapist (OT)/Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the past 5 years.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensure: Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Kentucky.
