Job Description
Summary: Seeking out a 0.6 FTE Psychiatrist to serve our inpatient adult psychiatry unit.
Rate Caps for Submission:
Malpractice Must be included in rates.
Orientation half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours
Hourly BR BR Per hour not OT
Holiday Must be 1.5x the regular rates Per holiday hour no OTNightly Call BR BR Per night call to hold the pager to include 2.5 hours gratis
Holiday Nightly Call BR389 BR425 Per night call to hold the pager to include 2.5 hours gratis
Call Back BR BR Per hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.
Holiday Call Back BR BR25 Per holiday hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.
Bid Due Date: 11/5/24 @5p est
Schedule/Availability Requirements: Flexible with a one week on one week off or two weeks on two weeks off based on the availability of the Psychiatrist. Oncall hours will be scheduled during weeks on. One or two evenings on call during the week and 1 weekend a month.
Facility Location: Bismarck North Dakota Setting: Adult Inpatient Psychiatry
FTE: 0.6
Duties: Daily rounds on the adult psychiatry unit attend daily multidisciplinary teams meeting communicate with patient family or natural supports provide psych consults on the inpatient units complete documentation
Required Procedures: NA
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: Registered Nurses Mental Health Techs Occupational Therapist Occupational Therapist Assistant Social Worker Adolescent Psychiatrist Manager Director
Reason for Coverage: To increase adult census
Deal breakers: Promotes positive culture Office is located on the unit
Travel Preferences (see attachment for specific travel guidelines):
Preferred Lodging: none. In the event that the CommonSpirit Health preferred hotel is not available hotel/lodging rates will be reimbursed based on actual expense up to 1.5 times the current GSA rate for the market.
Air Travel: BR/round trip cap
Rental Cars: BR5/day all in cap (including taxes and fees) regardless of car class.
Mileage: IRS Standard Rate
Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation. Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission.

- North Dakota State license or IMLC (LOQ in hand) REQUIRED
- Residency Requirements/Fellowship Adult Psychiatry REQUIRED
- Malpractice to be provided by the physician or the locum agency
- Availability at time of name clear REQUIRED
