Job Description
MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center is looking for a Locum Pulm Critical Care physician for PTO/Vacation coverage!
Details:
- Shifts per month: one shift per month meaning one block of dates per month.
- 7a7p (inhouse) 7p7a (offsite call)
- Average Number of ICU Patients Per Day: 13
- Total Number of Beds: 200
- Number of ICU Beds: 12
- Required to Supervise other Providers: APP supervision. Oversight is minimal as nurse practitioners are able to practice independently.
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing timeline: 3045 days
- Only ICU patients are being seen per day

Rates needed for submission:
- Malpractice (must be included in the rates)
- Orientation
- Hourly (xx400 rate cap)
- Holiday
- Overtime
- Holiday Overtime
- Nightly Call ($450 rate cap)
- Holiday Nightly Call
- On Call (Daily) ($3500 rate cap)
- 24 Hour Holiday Call
- Call Back
- Holiday Call Back
- Conversion Fee ($25k rate cap)
Requirement description :
- Board Certified in Pulmonary Critical Care Required
- ACLS DEA CSR Required
- Active IA License Required (not accepting IMLC or nonlicensed candidates)
- COVID vaccine Required note at time of name clear
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
