Senior Django Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Django Developer with 3.5 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python (3.5) and Django (2.2) with proven experience in developing RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework. The role involves working in an Agile environment mentoring junior developers and contributing to highquality scalable web applications. Proficiency in PostgreSQL along with familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular React) and AWS.

Tasks

1. Develop test and maintain highquality software applications using Django and Python.
2. Design and implement RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.
3. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
4. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
5. Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices.
6. Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Python 3.5: Currently working on Python 3.5 versions
• Django 2.2: Proficiency with Django 2.2 frameworks.
• Django REST Framework: Minimum of 2 years of experience with Django REST Framework including developing APIs.
• PostgreSQL: Comfort and experience with Postgres Database (PSQL) is essential.
• AGILE Environment: Must have practical experience working in an AGILE environment including ( Scrum methodologies and User Stories )
