Tableau Developer

Role & responsibilities:

Manage Tableau Server infrastructure including installation configuration and maintenance to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
Administer user roles permissions and security settings within Tableau Server to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Design and develop advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights and support decisionmaking processes.
Utilize advanced SQL queries and scripting for data extraction transformation and analysis to create complex functionality reports.
Optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for performance scalability and usability.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance related to Tableau and SQL queries.
Stay current with Tableau and SQL advancements and recommend improvements to enhance BI capabilities.
Train and mentor team members on Tableau Server administration and SQL best practices.

Preferred candidate profile:
Bachelors degree Information Systems or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience (5 years) in administering Tableau Server managing user roles and configuring permissions.
Extensive knowledge of Tableau Desktop Tableau Server and Tableau Online functionalities.
Advanced SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and database scripting.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Tableau Desktop and Server certifications preferred.
Collaborating with team members and project managers.
Be agile and ready to take on new challenges.
Ready to complete certification.
