Deputy Head Legal Compliance MLM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal guidance and advice to the business on a variety of legalissues including contract review and negotiation regulatory compliance intellectual property and employment law.
• Manage legal matters for these markets including drafting and
  reviewing contracts conducting legal research and providing guidance
  on legal disputes.
• Ensure corporate legal compliance across all areas of the business in
  India and Africa including product registration licensing and
  marketing.
• Support the Chief Legal Officer in developing and implementing legal
  policies and procedures across the organization.
• Work closely with other departments including Sales Marketing and
  Finance to ensure legal compliance and mitigate legal risk.
• Manage and coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.

Qualifications:

• A law degree from a recognized institution and a minimum of 7 years of relevant legal experience preferably with experience in a direct selling or network marketing industry.
• Experience managing legal operations across multiple countries preferably
  in relevant markets.
• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks in these countries including contract law intellectual property and employment law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to nonlegal stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other
  departments and external partners.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
• Fluency in English is required and knowledge of other languages spoken in
  the region is a plus
