Job Description
Aim of the job:
- To assist Mill Manager to ensure compliance with all Company operating policies procedures and standing instructions
Main responsibilities and activities:
- To Ensure all mill machines are all maintained for optimum operation of the processes
- Supervise technicians too perform scheduled maintenance repairs and installation of parts and machines
- Prepare everyday report and ensure engineers log book is filled for proper shift handover
- Comply with all the quality standards practiced in the mill
- Implement preventive maintenance program for all plant and machineries
- Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed
- Ensure prompt action is taken when processing losses exceed the standard and provide an adequate explanation for any deviation from the limits.
Requirements
Basic education and training:
- Minimum degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience
- Professional experience: possess Steam Engineer s certificate of competency
Knowledge skills:
- Possess adequate leadership abilities to lead subordinates
- Able to arrange manpower and assign tasks to subordinates
- Able to prepare reports and paperwork related to boiler and steam turbine operation
Personal qualities required abilities:
- High integrity reliable and responsible with good time management
- Strong leadership skills with dynamic qualities and result oriented
