AWS Redshift Database administrator

As a database administrator you will work with diverse data analytics technologies on the cloud. Technical Responsibilities include deploying managing and operating scalable highly available and faulttolerant databases on AWS. Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results and issues to internal and client teams.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problemsolving environment.
Primary Responsibilities Include
Own the architecture for the AWS Redshift clusters across all environments.
Own the database administration of the Enterprise Data Warehouse on AWS Redshift.
Own the architecture for our Enterprise Data Warehouse on AWS Redshift including cluster and node topology configuration and sizing.
Automate provisioning operation monitoring and troubleshooting of the database and data lake infrastructure.
Determine enforce and document database policies procedures and standards.
Keep up to date with emerging cloud technology trends on AWS Redshift.
Define design standards for AWS Redshift for use by development and support teams. Partner with the Data Architect to define data modeling standards.
Partner with data engineers on query design during projects and while performing analytics and to analyze troubleshoot and optimize application and adhoc queries in production.
Provide operational management for our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) in AWS Redshift across all environments including configuration maintenance code migration and incident response.
Identify and execute cost performance and uptime optimizations.
Partner with the Analysts and Business Partners on data extracts as needed. Technical Essentials
Expertise in Redshift Administration for managing databases user tables indexes statistics managing permissions addressing the user issues.
Excellent and proven knowledge of AWS Redshift and SQL demonstrated through 4 years in a Redshift DBA role.

Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in ServiceNow development. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with ITIL processes and ServiceNow certifications. - Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and development best practices. - Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful ServiceNow solutions.
