Our client a Commercial Real Estate (CRE) industryleading engineering and janitorial services firm with clients across the country seeks an experienced and ambitious Regional Operations Manager to join their growing team in Downtown Los Angeles overseeing the entire region from Orange County to the San Fernando Valley and Santa Monica to Glendale and beyond.
This is a rare opportunity for a proven CRE leader to leverage their business development acumen along with their passion for coaching a collaborative team overseeing a P&L all in a supportive environment with room for growth. This role reports directly to the President of the company.
The Regional Operations Manager is the face of the company in the market responsible for generating new business through outbound prospecting and networking and building relationships facetoface. The ideal candidate is a driven hunter of new business and farmer of long term relationships they possess outstanding interpersonal skills and are detailoriented.
A day in the life of the successful Regional Operations Manager includes but is not limited to:
- Overseeing all operations throughout the Los Angeles region including the management team supervisory team and office staff
- Client relationship development and maintenance including meetings onsite and entertainment
- Full Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities
- New client contract procurement
- Ensuring client services are provided on or below budget
- Maintaining KPIs for individual and branch management team performance
- Overseeing all payroll for the region
- Reviewing all supply ordering and budgeting
- Ensuring safety training is being conducted and adhered to
- Maintaining monthly reporting
- Overseeing Union engagement
Requirements
The ideal Regional Operations Manager candidate possesses the following skills & experience:
- Thorough knowledge of property operations building engineering or janitorial services gained through progressively successful prior experience in CRE
- Selfstarter mentality capable of driving business growth through relationship building
- A strong network of CRE contacts throughout Southern California
- Capable of understanding of Payroll and Accounting systems
- Skilled in using MS Office products including Excel for budgeting
