We are working with a MIT alumni founded health tech startup with a mission to make healthcare equitable and accessible to all. As part of their continued growth NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Sr. Embedded Systems Engineer to join their Malaysia team.

Headquartered in Boston Massachusetts with a base in Kuala Lumpur.

Job Overview:
Seeking a skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to develop innovative imaging products using ultralow power wireless technology. This role focuses on embedded systems wireless communication and power management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software and hardware for imaging products with ultralow power consumption and efficient wireless communication.
  • Implement and optimize lowpower wireless protocols like Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) subGHz and WiFi.
  • Integrate image sensors MEMS sensors MCUs and wireless modules for compact and powerefficient designs.
  • Develop power management strategies (energy harvesting battery management dynamic power scaling) to maximize battery life.
  • Conduct extensive testing for reliability performance and compliance.
  • Participate in all product development phases from concept to prototyping and testing.
  • Document design choices and contribute to technical and user documentation.
  • Stay updated on trends in embedded systems wireless communication and lowpower design.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in embedded systems design with a focus on wireless and lowpower technologies.
  • Expertise in BLE WiFi and subGHz protocols.
  • Proficiency in C/C programming for embedded systems.
  • Experience with lowpower wireless communication image sensors and power management techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with realtime operating systems (RTOS).
  • Knowledge of FCC standards for wireless communication.
  • Experience in developing medical devices security cameras or IoT products.
