We are a growing team looking for a Legal Counsel Commercial in the Legal department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Berlin office.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial handson senior lawyer to provide strategic counsel across the organization and elevate our legal support. This is a unique opportunity to join a successful business with a strong brand and IPO ambitions. The role will include support in all aspects of business law and any inquiries related to transport and (international) commercial law alongside a team of several business law professionals. You will cover both longterm strategic aspects as well as tackle daytoday business operations.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management and various departments on diverse legal issues
• Assess legal implications of business initiatives contracts and policies; oversee and participate in the negotiation drafting and review of various commercial agreements
• Ensure contracts align with the organizations legal and business objectives proposing risk mitigation strategies
• Lead litigation cases managing external counsel involvement
• Interface and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels including executive management regulators courts government agencies and external legal counsel
• Stay informed about legal developments industry trends and regulatory changes impacting the organization

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Fully qualified lawyer with 4 years of relevant experience in a law firm or as an inhouse counsel.
• Experience in international transport and logistics is a plus
• Ability to work with others and independently
• Critical thinking and multitasking ability
• Problemsolving mindset
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with all departments across different countries and with external parties
• Ability to effectively communicate with senior management and decisionmakers within the sennder Group
• Fluency in English; fluency in German is preferred but not required. Other languages are a plus
• Businessoriented and resultdriven attitude with problemsolving skills
• Striving for continuous improvement and seeking additional responsibilities
