Job Description

Were recruiting for a Legal Counsel to join the legal function of a leading U.S. technology firm.

The focus will be on providing sound legal advice particularly around commercial and IT/SaaS contracts as they continue to push European expansion.

Tasks

  • Review negotiate and draft a range of commercial contracts including IT/SaaS agreements vendor contracts and service level agreements.
  • Provide practical legal advice and guidance to internal teams on various legal matters including privacy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with clients and vendors on contract negotiations and maintain strong working relationships.
  • ist in the development and refinement of legal templates and best practices.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant legal issues affecting the software industry.

Requirements

  • 14 years PQE with experience in IT law and general commercial contracting.
  • Fluency in German and English language.
  • Experience working both inhouse (ideally in tech) and in private practice is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of legal issues impacting the software industry globally such as data privacy SaaS Cloud AI and IP.
  • Candidates with relevant experience not admitted to the German federal bar will be considered.
