We are currently seeking a Director of Womens Services to join our team at a healthcare facility in Mayfield KY. The Director of Womens Services will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the womens services department including labor and delivery postpartum and nursery units.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of highquality care to patients in the womens services department

Manage and supervise the staff in the womens services department including hiring training and performance evaluations

Monitor and maintain department budget and resources

Collaborate with other department directors and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in womens healthcare and implement changes as needed

Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and accreditation standards

Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and resources to enhance the services offered by the department

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field required Masters degree preferred

Current RN license in the state of Kentucky

Minimum of 5 years of experience in womens healthcare with at least 2 years in a leadership role

Strong leadership and management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of labor and delivery postpartum and nursery care processes and procedures

Understanding of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards

Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Proven track record of improving patient outcomes and satisfaction

Details:
