Litigation Paralegal Employment Class Action (Irvine)

As our Litigation Paralegal in our Employment Class Action department you will have the opportunity to advocate for our clients’ interests often in cases pertaining to overtime wage violations employee misclassification timeshaving failure to provide meal and rest breaks and other workers’ rights violations.

Compensation range based on experience:
- $70000 $100000
What you will be doing:
- Support our attorneys in all phases of litigation
- Propound and respond to discovery
- Maintain organized case files
- Assist in drafting reviewing proofreading citation checking and tabling documents
- Manage and calendar court deadlines
- Prepare documents for filing in both state and federal courts
- Professionally communicate with clients experts courts and defense counsel
The skills you need:
- 3 years of civil litigation experience preferably in wage & hour class actions
- Excellent organizational skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to act independently and in a teambased environment
- Knowledge of eFiling and California rules
- Familiarity with California discovery rules
- Type at least 40 wpm.
- Confident in a paperless work environment
