Description
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented SAICA Trainee Accountant to join our dynamic team in Pretoria Gauteng. This fulltime position is ideal for recent graduates with a Bcom in Accounting or related accounting degree who are looking to launch their careers in the accounting profession. As a trainee you will gain valuable onthejob experience while working under the guidance of experienced accountants. Your primary objective will be to assist in providing accounting and financial services while adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements and reports.
- Support the accounting team in daytoday financial operations.
- Participate in the auditing process and assist with audit inquiries.
- Help in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate accounting records.
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and workflows.
- Continuously update knowledge of accounting practices regulations and technologies.
Requirements
- BCom in Accounting or a relevant Accounting Degree.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fastpaced environment.
