Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and be accountable for the overall business operations of the company, playing a pivotal role in strategic decision-making processes.
  • Maintain and refine goal-setting frameworks, including Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to ensure organizational alignment, commitment, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and enhance organizational processes and systems, improving operational efficiency and integration.
  • Ensuring teams are aligned and accountable to achieve targets and execute on business strategy.
  • Utilize and govern the company’s business operations tech stack—including Salesforce CRM, Notion, Jira, QuickBooks, G-suite, and more—to boost business process efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Maintain a robust, performance-driven culture, monitoring and enhancing company performance and operational outputs.
  • Review the organizational chart regularly, addressing gaps and ensuring optimal alignment and efficiency within the team structure.
  • Address operational gaps by designing data-driven, repeatable business processes across the customer journey.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings to ensure ongoing alignment, address challenges, monitor progress towards company goals, and cultivate business rituals that reinforce the organization’s culture and objectives.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify and capitalize on opportunities for financial performance improvement.
  • Actively contribute to the product strategy, ensuring it aligns with market demands and optimizes the customer journey.
  • Assist in managing projects and initiatives, guiding teams to deliver specific goals and outcomes effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in building, maintaining or scaling operations in a SaaS or tech-focused environment, preferably within EdTech.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and operational planning skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Holistic thinking approach to connect short term targets and objectives to long term strategy.
  • Excellent understanding of product development processes and go to market.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and multi-market operations.
  • Deep understanding of operational metrics and financial management.
