Purpose of the role:
The Hotel Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and provides exceptional customer service during their stay at the Burman Hotel. This role involves managing reservations checkins and checkouts and addressing guest inquiries and requests.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies product offerings service procedures and standards.
- Greet guests warmly and assist with checkins and checkouts.
- Handle reservations booking inquiries and modifications.
- Control room inventory for respective room types and categories.
- Provide information about hotel services facilities and local attractions.
- Anticipate guests needs and respond promptly.
- Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly and professionally ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
What we expect from you:
- Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proficiency in English at a conversational level.
- Team player with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
