Operations Manager

• Oversee the operations of multiple production lines ensuring they run efficiently and effectively.
  
• Develop and implement operational strategies processes and policies to optimize production and reduce costs.
  
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards across all production lines.
  

• Collaborate with production managers to develop production plans and schedules.
  
• Monitor production activities to ensure timely completion of production targets.
  
• Address any issues that may cause delays in production and implement corrective actions.
  

• Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet established standards.
  
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues and implement improvement plans.
  
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and costsaving initiatives.
  
• Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen.
  
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
  

• Manage and allocate resources effectively across different production lines.
  
• Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of equipment and machinery.
  
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and supplies.
  

• Provide leadership and direction to production managers and their teams.
  
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  
• Conduct performance evaluations provide feedback and implement training and development programs.
  

• Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
  
• Promote a culture of safety and implement safety programs and initiatives.
  
• Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents and implement preventive measures.
  

• Prepare regular reports on operational performance including production output efficiency quality and costs.
  
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering Business Administration Operations Management or a related field. A Master s degree is preferred.
  
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management within the FMCG industry with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  
• Proven experience in managing production lines and large teams.
  
• Strong understanding of production processes quality control and continuous improvement methodologies.
  
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to make datadriven decisions and solve complex problems.
  
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and other relevant software.
