Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Integrating geological petrophysical geophysical and other field data as required to understand both regional geology and reservoir architecture.
2. Geological Geophysical reservoir and production data gathering and analysis
3. Generate and interpret geologic data create maps cross sections and 3D models
4. Perform field evaluation studies development planning resource maturation and risk mitigation.
5. Seismic and well data interpretation to define subsurface geological structure and stratigraphy.
6. Conducts comprehensive reservoir characterization studies including Logtocore integration mapping sequence stratigraphy and conceptual 3D geological modelling (Facies and reservoir properties).
7. Utilize Geological data (wells seismic etc) reservoir properties and production data to estimate Original Oil in Place (OOIP) and/or production performance.
8. Contribute to field development plans through well opportunity identification planning maturation and execution.
Requirements
BSc in relevant Earth Science discipline and a minimum of 5 years post NYSC relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team interfacing with other Earth scientists and Engineers (including reservoir production well facilities engineers)
Strong technical and leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in data management and quality control
Proficiency in geologic software including Petrel and 3D modelling programs
