Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Research Specialist with a background in research to join our client. This role is ideal for an experienced Research Specialist looking to transition into the merchant banking space leveraging their expertise to provide actionable insights to drive investment decisions. You will be at the forefront of market analysis providing indepth research that supports our advisory and investment teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Economics Business or a related field; CFA or similar qualifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in buyside or sellside fundamental research role.
- Strong interest in Global Financial Markets.
- CFA Charter holder or commitment to completing the CFA program is advantageous
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling data analysis tools and platforms such as Bloomberg Reuters or similar.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple research assignments.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and economic policies affecting the financial sector.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
