Job Role: SQL SSIS Developer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain SQL Server databases and data integration solutions using SSIS.

Write complex SQL queries stored procedures functions and views to support application development and reporting needs.

Develop deploy and manage SSIS packages to extract transform and load (ETL) data from various sources.

Collaborate with data analysts business stakeholders and other developers to understand data requirements and provide efficient solutions.

Optimize and tune SQL queries and database performance to ensure high availability and reliability.

Monitor and troubleshoot database and SSIS package issues implementing corrective actions as needed.

Maintain documentation for database structures SSIS packages and data integration processes.

Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and error handling mechanisms within SSIS packages.

Participate in code reviews providing feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to SQL Server and SSIS.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Proven experience as a SQL Developer with expertise in writing complex SQL queries stored procedures and performance tuning.

Strong handson experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) including designing and deploying SSIS packages.

Familiarity with SQL Server database administration including backups restores and security management.

Knowledge of ETL processes data warehousing concepts and data modeling.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving database and SSISrelated issues.

Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience with other data integration tools and technologies (e.g. Azure Data Factory ) is a plus.

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git) and agile development methodologies is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloudbased data solutions particularly in Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Factory.

Familiarity with reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI.

Understanding of data governance data quality and master data management principles.
