Job description

Treat internal disorders, such ashypertension, heart disease, diabetes, and problems of the lung,brain, kidney, and gastrointestinal tract.

Analyze records, reports, test results, orexamination information to diagnose medical condition ofpatient.

Prescribe or administer medication,therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or preventillness, disease, or injury.

Provide and managelong-term, comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis andnonsurgical treatment of diseases, for adult patients in an officeor hospital.

Manage and treat common healthproblems, such as infections, influenza and pneumonia, as well asserious, chronic, and complex illnesses, in adolescents, adults,and the elderly.

Monitor patients'conditions and progress and revaluate treatments asnecessary.
