Job Description

For the Swiss entity of an important trading house providing global trading services for refined products and petrochemicals in Baar/Zug.

Tasks

Responsibilities

  • Daily P&L analysis and position reports to management and trading desk
  • Review and validation of initial deal economics including model integrity accuracy and completeness
  • Validation of physical commodity deal entry against business confirmations and signed contracts in close coordination with the trading team
  • Structured deal performance review and reporting
  • Support finance and risk management with ad hoc analysis and reporting
  • Month end analysis and reporting

Requirements

Requirements

  • Background in Finance with 34 years of middle office experience in a commodity trading environment ideally in the oil & gas industry
  • Working knowledge of commodity trading systems and ERP integration
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Fluency in English any additional language being an advantage
  • Keen interest in trading derivatives business process automation internal control efficiency and improvement
  • Dynamic and organised with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility attentive to detail
