For our client a large multinational company headquartered in Fribourg we are searching for an IT Business Analyst to join the team onsite in Fribourg.
You will play a strategic role as an interface between our business teams and our IT department. Your main mission will be to understand business needs and translate them into technical relevant and effective solutions.
Tasks
- Needs analysis: Identify collect and formalize business needs in close collaboration with the different teams (finance HR etc.).
- Writing functional specifications: Write detailed functional specifications to guide technical teams in developing solutions. Formalize business processes and develop the necessary documentation.
- ITBusiness Coordination: Ensure smooth communication and consistency between business and IT teams ensuring alignment of objectives and implemented solutions.
- Solution design: Propose innovative technical solutions adapted to the specific needs of each business. Prioritize and coordinate project execution in conjunction with internal teams and external service providers.
- Accounting integration: Ensure optimal integration of financial data into information systems based on solid knowledge of accounting processes.
- Testing and validation: Write and execute test plans (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business expectations. Map business processes and optimize their modeling to ensure their effectiveness.
- User training and support: Support and train users during the implementation of new solutions and provide postdeployment support.
- Monitoring deadlines and costs: Ensure compliance with deadlines and control of project costs while ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Expect international travels of 3040 days per year.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in computer science or equivalent discipline
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Technical skills: Proven experience in project management mastery of ERP systems and modelling tools (UML BPMN).
- Accounting knowledge: understanding of accounting principles and their application in information systems.
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
- Rigor and precision: Ability to produce detailed documents while ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Customer orientation and quality of service: Approach focused on meeting business needs and providing quality solutions.
- Autonomy and proactivity: Ability to work independently take initiatives and propose innovative solutions.
- French and English fluent written and spoken
